The Upper School of Wachusett
Regional High School is made up of all the
school's 11th- and 12th-graders. Under WRHS's Small
Learning Communities initiative, Upper School students, after following a core curriculum in the Lower School, choose from a variety of prescribed and elective courses. Most of the academic classrooms for Upper School
students are along the B, C, and D, and E hallways on the second floor of the building.
Upper School Policies
Parking: Seniors and juniors without a parking
permit may buy a day pass up to five times per term. The passes may be
purchased at the Upper School office (B201), 24 hours in advance, for $1/day.
Daily parking is a senior privilege. Students awarded a parking
permit must park in their assigned, numbered spaces. Chronic violations
will result in the permit being revoked. Parking fees will not be
refunded.
Any student caught parking on school property without permission will
receive a $25 ticket, and the car may be towed at the owner's expense.
Dismissals: Students to be dismissed must bring a note, signed
by a parent/guardian, to the Upper School office before 8 a.m. on the
day they are to be dismissed. No phone dismissals are allowed. Students
may not be dismissed during long block except for a documented medical
or legal appointment. The class administrator must approve all
long-block dismissals.
