Special Education Department

Curriculum Specialist: Colleen Micavich 508-829-6771 ext. 1101
Special Education Secretary: Terry Mulryan, Ext. 1644

The Special Education Department offers a variety of courses specifically designed to meet the needs of students who may require support and assistance beyond that which is available within regular education courses. Most courses have been developed to provide a balance between the improvement of basic skills and subject area learning. Studnets may enroll in these courses only after a Team Evaluation has been conducted and and Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) developed. The Educational Plan, developed by the students' special education team, will identify specific needs to be addressed during the IEP period.
